Who we are
This notice describes how Solution Space, operator of ParityWatch ("we", "us"), collects and processes personal data. Solution Space is the data controller for the personal data it collects through ParityWatch.
Data we collect
- Account data — name, company name, email address, hashed password, and authentication identifiers.
- Property data — hotel names and OTA URLs you enter so we can monitor your listings.
- Usage and telemetry — pages viewed, features used, device/browser type, IP address and approximate location for security and product analytics.
- Support communications — messages you send us by email or in-app.
Payment data (card details, billing address, tax IDs) is collected and processed directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not store full payment-card information.
Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To provide the service — creating your account, running parity checks, displaying results. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To secure the service — preventing fraud, abuse and unauthorised access. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To improve the product — usage analytics in aggregated form. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To support customers — responding to questions and issues. Legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- To send service emails — billing receipts, security notices, and important product updates. Legal basis: contract / legitimate interests.
- Marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal compliance — when required by law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics providers acting under contract on our behalf.
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing and refund handling.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting and compliance advisers when relevant.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law or valid legal process.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer personal data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account and property data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle any post-termination requests, disputes or legal obligations. Billing and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable tax law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request erasure of your data;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Request a portable copy of data you provided to us;
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.
